Paris Spring 2011 RTW: Elie Saab

Elie Saab's strength is in designing red carpet gowns. The Spring 2011 Ready-to-Wear collection also included minidresses and some separates, but they fell into the "nothing special" category. Even the gowns, in a muted palette including silver, Wedgewood blue, and soft nectarine, were on the safe side. There were no big fashion crimes, but also no inspirational, to-die-for looks. On the whole, the collection left a vague taste of boredom.

This seems more like a line, rather than a collection don't you think? If she was more daring with the colors, I think it would have definitely been fantastic....
