Glamorate: 2010 Oscars Red Carpet

Though the Oscar telecast left much to be desired, being slow-moving and chaotic, the red carpet was even more dazzling than usual. The trends were golds & metallics, blush pinks, electric blues, ruffles and pleats, and long trains. Here are the major stars, including which designer each was wearing. Below each image is a chance for you to glamorate. Click on any image to view the larger size.

Sandra Bullock. Gorgeous! And I always have a soft spot for Maggie G. She pushes the envelope - but not too far (Bjork!) - and I like that.

Diane Kruger's dress has been growing on me. But I hate the proliferation of gray.

I loved how fashion forward everyone was this year! J.Lo rocked Armani Prive's architectural gown!

Ooh thanks for posting, I can never actually sit and watch the Oscars (way too long!) so I rely on blogs like yours to tell me what happened :). For not being a actual "movie star" I think Kathryn Bigelow looks fantastic!

Totally love this post.. I am always looking for articles about Oscar. Topics about Akoya Pearl necklace or Tahitian pearl necklace are also some of my favorites.
