Glamorate It: The 2009 BAFTA Awards Red Carpet

While stars of the music world were outbidding each other for bad taste at the Grammys (with a few exceptions, of course, notably Jennifer Hudson and Kathy Griffin), stars of the silver screen presented restrained elegance at the BAFTA awards in England. The "British Oscars" aired on BBC America and, while more subdued than American award ceremonies, they were worthwhile, if for no other reason than that Kate Winslet finally made a coherent thank-you speech :P

I know, reminds me of the vintage Valentino Julia Roberts wore to the Oscars some years ago. She is growing up and getting prettier every time I see her :)

I adore Freida Pinto's dress, but that may have something to do with the fact that it's pink.
