The Hervé Léger by Max Azria Fall 2009 collection stayed true to the collection's staple bandage dress, while subtly reinventing and modernizing it with new cuts and silhouettes. The Azrias wanted their collection to reflect "the beat of an urban tribe." The collection they presented was a fabulous mix of Cleopatra meets Road Warrior. Except for a few outfits where the shoulder pads looked more than a little linebacker, the collection was energetic and sensuous.
Ones I didn't care for:
There is another dress in the collection which also falls into the "dead ostrich trap" — the top and bottom don't relate!
Football helmet optional.
