Fashion Week Watch: Diane Von Furstenberg S/S 2009 RTW

Diane Von Furstenberg's Spring 2009 collection didn't really speak to my personal aesthetic with it's ethereal Flower Child dresses and, frankly, with many of the outfits, the feathered headdresses distracted me from the garments. That said, the collection was airy, joyous, and young, with several lovely surprises. Here are my top picks:

The blue and pink (with almost a paint smeared look) would look quite good as a beach cover up... Eh, 'flower power' isn't really my aesthetic either:S
Darling, don't worry,we all lose brain cells occasionally :D (especially after a long night of table dancing and pomegrante martinis, ahem.) Except I gave up table dancing after I realized that I was an adult...

I wish the whole 60's flower child thing would just die. It's unflattering on any woman and makes us all look like we're 8 months pregnant.
