Glam Must-Visit: Superheroes at the Met

The Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute has a special exhibition until September 1 — Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy. The exhibition is sponsored by the divine Giorgio Armani and features movie costumes, superhero-inspired haute couture, and sportswear.

The outfits are placed thematically around particular superheroes and there is an attempt to explore and incite conversation about what being a superhero means and how that translates to the world of fashion.

Truly a spectacular visit, so boldly go while you still can :)

Oh my gosh I saw this exhibit in May! It was so great! Bought my "POW!" tee shirt and am wearing it to the gym now. Loved seeing how superheros have truly inspired some design we just take for granted, like the Nike athletic wear. Fabulous Exhibit!
