Winter Entertaining in Golds and Silvers

Just because the holidays are over doesn't mean the end of winter entertaining. January is a great time to hold a glam dinner party — invite a few couples, or do a fancy dress party just for the Glam Girls in your life (and by fancy dress, I don't mean costume, but literally fancy dress). Set the table in winter whites and accessorize with golds and silvers. Pour champagne and play a little Ella Fitzgerald, and you'll have a lovely evening people will remember for a long time to come.

I bought a few things at the winter sale at Vivre — they have luxurious items on sale to make any table glitter:

Kim Seybert
$150 $90 Spanish Border Napkin (4)
$80 $48 Snowflake Napkin Rings (4)

$39 $23.40 Kim Seybert
Pewter Modern Glasses

Kim Seybert
$175 $105 Glitter Chargers (4)

Kim Seybert
$40 $24 Metallic Placemat

$100 $60 Kim Seybert
Jewel Dome Napkin Rings (4)

$44 $26.40 Juliska
Hand-Blown Goblet

And having nothing to do with the party,
but you can understand, I just had to:

$635 $381 Sergio Rossi
Leopard Print Haircalf Pump

The napkin rings are so glam! I must have some... although seeing as I hardly ever throw dinner parties, I'll have to find a way to incorporate them into the ordering of a Chinese takeaway first...

As for the shoes; yum.

Yeah they look like big ol' cocktail rings. I gave them to my mom for Xmas and she can't stop talking about them. I'm thinking they'd look super glam next to an order of mu shu pork, although perhaps better with some dumplings and fortune cookies :P
