Black and White Ball Channeling Audrey Hepburn
The black and white gown Audrey wears in Sabrina has always been one of my favorite Old Hollywood evening gowns. I have a Black & White Charity Ball in November, so of course I thought of that dress. What I found was this dress from Prom Dress Shop — I'm going to have my tailor band the bottom edge with a wide black satin band, and I think it'll do just the trick!

Valley Girl - Yeah, it was Givenchy. All of the clothes in that movie were... not sure about the school girl outfit in the beginning, when Sabrina hid in the tree, but from the moment she returned from Paris they were definitely Givency. Love the original. The remake was IGH, except for Craig Kinnear.
Maverick - heheh, I don't dress in gowns on your average day either, but when you go hobnobbing with the snooty-snoots, you make an extra effort, right? :)
Breathtaking - then again, Audrey Hepburn is one of those who made fashion look so effortless and glamorous. Sabrina is def. one of my favorite movies. I can watch that one and Mildred Pierce over, and over, and over again...
