Review of Cynthia Rowley's SS08 Ready-to-Wear

Cynthia Rowley's collection was, in one word, JOYFUL. Full of breezy clothes in whites, neutrals, and marine blues with sunny yellow accents, the collection evoked early summer in the south of France.

Collection Colors:

The runway was flanked by bicycles, one of the tops had a bicycle, and most outfits featured a gold bicycle necklace. To cap it all off, the designer herself hopped on one of the green bicycles at the end of the show.

How very Audrey!

It is a rare collection that is faux-pas free, and this collection did have a few outfits which fell into the "Huh?!?" category:

If anyone can explain these getups, I'd love to hear it.

All in all I would say Rowley's collection had a solid viewpoint and color scheme, and a girl could wear most of these outfits and feel lovely.
