The Golden Age of Couture Gala at the V & A

Last night, Tuesday, 18 September 2007, fashion models and celebrities gathered at "The Golden Age of Couture Gala" at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. The party celebrated the opening of the V & A exhibition of the same name, opening on September 22 and running until January 8, 2008. The exhibition celebrates The Golden Age of Couture in Paris and London 1947-1957. On display will be gowns and other couture designs from Dior, Balenciaga, Norman Hartnell, Balmain and Givenchy, among others. To get tickets, visit the exhibition page at the V & A.
