Catherine Malandrino SS08 Ready-to-Wear Collection in Review

I had awaited the Malandrino RTW show with interest. I was not disappointed — she only gets better every year. The collection was elegant, energetic, and feminine. With the possible exception of Max Azria, no-one does the skirt better than Catherine Malandrino — she should really be called "The Queen of the Skirt."

The tailoring, the fabrics, the details: all brilliant. The real genius is that these skirts will look just as fabulous on the average girl with the average body as they do on these models.

Malandrino's dresses were vibrant and flirty, tailored to the nines. How they made me want to go to a spring party!

I would also say that so far her show had the best shoes. I liked the makeup — the girls looked polished and pretty, but the side-of-the-head bun I could have lived without.

Malandrino Colors:

Considering that I liked 40 out of 43 outfits, that gives her a score of 93%. Vive Catherine!
