Shoe Organizer and Display - Perfect Curve

Glam Girls, as you know I've bought shoes and shoes and shoes this summer. What follows? The need to organize them and keep them from overrunning my closet. I would love to get California Closets to work their magic but my closet is too small to justify the expense. I went on a hunt for a cost effective solution (in addition to my good ol' shoe racks) that would also display pairs I wear most often. I have to admit, also so I can gaze at them lovingly every time I open the closet door.

I found the perfect thing: Shoe Organizer by Perfect Curve:

$17.89 Amazon.com

I checked everywhere and Amazon's price was more than 25% cheaper than everywhere else. <3 Amazon!

It accommodates 10 pairs of women's shoes. You can hang this off a door as well, but I think I'll use it just as pictured. Might get a second one if I like the first one.

Might I suggest Shoebby Clear Shoe Boxes? They are aesthetically-pleasing to the eye, stackable and have drawers to pull each pair out without having to "guess" which pair is in each box. Not to mention they keep dust off your coveted collection.

BTW, I think your site is adorable!

Hi Style and welcome! Thanks for the suggestion. I checked it out and well, the Shoebby isn't for me for two reasons: A) Plastic is bad for leather shoes, because they don't get to breathe and B) to store 10 pair would cost $59.99.

Plastic is bad? Uh-oh. I have about 45 special shoe boxes from The Container Store all nicely and beautifully stacked on my closet shelves! I love just looking in my closet and seeing them! Time to rethink my closet I guess.

No don't do it on my account, Lady! It's fine for canvas and faux - your leather might be alright as long as you keep those little desiccant pouches in there to absorb moisture :)

Yeah....I don't have those either. Oops. Although my shoes never make it back into the boxes until they have spent at least one night (if not 4 or 5) on the floor because I am...how shall I say this?....a messy creature. So they probably have time to dry. At least I hope.

Heh, you sound like me. Glam Boy is always complaining about my piles of shoes which land wherever I take them off :P

Hi Guys,

I have bought some Shoebby shoe boxes myself. In fact, these shoebby clear shoeboxes do have open holes both ways to keep the shoes dry. I bought 5 first to test them out and later bought some more. I also use them as my travel shoebox for my work shoes as they come with carrying handle which I think is pretty neat. I also have those inexpensive lid type boxes as well, but those are not realy meant for shoes I think. They are not realy practical when you have to pull out from teh stack and open the lid each time. I think people started using these containers as shoe box because there weren't much choices for shoes then. Anyway, it would be a great idea too to package shoes, so each time when we buy a new pair of shoes, it comes in these shoebby shoe box as an automatic shoe organizer at home? But I wonder how much more the shoe company will charge for such fancy box. Big question!

Hey Anonymous! Cool, good to know. The price is still kinda steep $30 for 5 pair, but maybe I have to invest and try them out :)

A great concept, but the Shoebby boxes are rather flimsy and not durable. In fact, the boxes I ordered from Shoebby.com were defective (cracked and unusable) when I received them in the mail. I received a partial - but not full - refund from the company even though they shipped defective boxes to me. Buyer beware! I went out this weekend and purchased the acrylic shoe boxes with drawers from Container Store - they are much better quality.
